Leave it to Kate Moss to model the perfect fall look. Moss took a stroll around London’s Primrose Hill in an outfit that was both timeless and trendy: a thin gray crewneck sweater and a pair of dark wash jeans, which she cuffed just above the ankle. On her feet she opted for this season’s hottest—and most versatile—shoe: the black ballet flat.
Moss also opted for another fall staple with a wool, camel-colored coat. Her double breasted jacket was perfect for a little nip in the air. It wasn’t as cumbersome as other winter outerwear in terms of length and bulk, landing at her mid-thigh. She finished the look with dark sunglasses, large gold hoop earrings, and a black leather pouch, which she held as a clutch. (Moss’s bag was also very with the times as Kendall Jenner told Vogue about her new favorite bag from The Row, to Hailey Bieber’s Bottega Veneta clutch obsession, and the Loewe Squeeze bag that took over fashion month.)
The look was in keeping with Moss’s cool signature style. The super regularly rocks jeans, leather jackets, overcoats, and tees in a neutral palette. Her dedication to her sense of self is what keeps her outfits fresh after all this time. While the simplicity of the ’90s are definitely having a moment, Kate Moss continues to remind us that she did it first.
