Last night, classic Hollywood glamour shined at the 2023 Academy Museum Gala. The red carpet was filled with A-list star power: Stars such as Selena Gomez, Kendall Jenner, Zoë Kravitz, and plenty more all delivered their best evening attire. Also in attendance was singer Dua Lipa, who opted for a classic black lace Chanel ensemble that proved to be a more sophisticated take on the “naked dress” trend. “I am in love with this lace jumpsuit and muslin dress, from the Métiers d’Art 2020 collection,” Lipa tells Vogue of her look. “It is always so much fun to work with the Chanel team, and get to explore the archive with them.”

To punctuate her modern, all-black look, the star draped herself in diamonds from Tiffany & Co. The accessories included platinum earrings with diamonds, as well as a platinum statement necklace designed with 130 marquise diamonds (that totaled over 23 carats) and 195 round brilliant diamonds (totaling over 18 carats). To finish it off, the star also wore a platinum ring with diamonds. “Tiffany’s brought so many iconic pieces to choose from, but the necklace was the perfect piece to complete my look,” says Lipa. “I immediately knew it was the one when I put it on—it fell at just the right spot, and with that perfect Tiffany sparkle.” Though the sparkling pieces are price upon request, it’s safe to say she looked like at least a million bucks.
