To Give:
If you know me, you’re reading this, and have recently celebrated something (a birthday, anniversary, Christmas!), you might have already received my go-to gift: Baccarat’s crystal wine coaster. The aesthetic is classic enough that it fits in with most all decor and it’s a luxurious gift that clocks in under $150—can’t be beaten! For my sister, I’ll be treating her to a pair of slippers from the Ritz Paris x Frame collab. It’s all about everyday luxury for those on my shopping list!
To Receive:
For myself, a few accessories. I’ve been hoping to test out the elbow-length glove trend in leather and this pair from Carolina Amato is ticking all the boxes. And because I’ve been extra good this year, a new pair of Manolos. The Maysale mule is an investment but one I’ll never tire of–especially in the tan suede.

This past summer, my parents embraced their empty-nester lifestyle and moved into a townhouse in a new city. For their first Christmas, I want to give them something unique that will really make their house feel like a home. I’m planning to send them this record player and a few of their favorite albums, so they can entertain their new (and old!) friends in style. Everyone on my list this year (and every year, really) will be receiving a gift from my favorite candle brand, Brooklyn Candle Studio. The Christmas Tree candle is exactly the fresh, piney scent I want to be surrounded by all season long, and the limited edition Cypress candle can also double as holiday decor. I’ll be adding a few extra to my cart for my own apartment as well!
To Receive:
I’ve been looking for a simple yet sophisticated bag that can take me from day to night this holiday season, and this Saint Laurent crossbody bag has caught my eye. It fits all the necessities—phone, keys, lipstick—plus, it comes with a removable card case, so I don’t need to worry about carrying around a bulky wallet. Since receiving a Theragun Prime for Christmas last year, it has become a part of my nightly routine. This year, I have my sights set on the new Theragun Mini, which is a smaller, lighter version of the Prime. It’s easy to travel with, so I won’t ever have to go without my daily deep tissue massage. The perfect stocking stuffer!

Amongst family and friends, it feels like everyone has the same idea this year—to ask for essentials that last this holiday season, and beyond. My younger sister just landed a new job, so I’m hoping to give her a new work tote (one that I may or may not have also added to the cart for myself!). A few of those in my close circle are always on the hunt for durable yet stylish sneakers that work just as well for casual outfits as they do for errands. These Adidas might just do the trick!
To Receive:
Top of my list are serious winter closet upgrades. Think sweaters, sweaters…and more sweaters! Plus, it wouldn’t hurt to have pretty, wool, pleated skirts to pair with them.
Nicole Phelps, global director, Vogue runway and Vogue business
To Give:
Santa Maria Novella’s scented wax tablets make a thoughtful gift for fashion lovers. Stash them in a drawer or hang them in a closet, and clothes smell as beautiful as they look. The food lover in my life will be getting this Cooking With Scorsese cookbook in which acclaimed chefs create recipes inspired by “filmic moments that bring them culinary joy.” I’m very curious what the Mexican chef Enrique Olvera has cooked up in response to the Cohen brothers’ classic No Country for Old Men.
To Receive:
My sister-in-law sent us a couple of trays of Florida HoneyBells for the first pandemic Christmas when we couldn’t visit in person, and they were the most delicious oranges I’ve ever eaten. Nothing would brighten my January (they ship post-holidays) like another batch. Jill Platner’s Crosby Street boutique is one of the most delightful shops in New York City, not least of all because she’s added exquisite hand-hammered chains made in the workshop above the store to her offering. A girl can dream!

This holiday season, more than ever, it’s a wonderful time to help others. I’m donating to Feeding America and The Nature Conservancy on behalf of my friends and family.
To Receive:
I’d love to receive one of the Loewe candle-stick-shaped candles–it’s like bringing the scent of spring into your home. If I’m really going for a splurge, the chocolate intrecciato Bottega Veneta bag is top of my list.

This year, I’m trying to be better at holiday shopping sooner, rather than later. For my new fiancé, I’m planning to give him a pair of all-black Axel Arigato sneakers and a timeless Barbour jacket he can wear for years to come.
To Receive:
As for myself, I love personalized jewelry and eyeing Mateo’s elegant initial necklace for everyday wear. And because I have travel on my mind for 2023, Rimowa’s classic cabin suitcase is a must-have on my wishlist.

Lately, I’ve been teaching my boyfriend how it’s all about a solid wardrobe of timeless essentials and this crewneck sweater from A.P.C is the perfect example. He can still wear it with his favorite vintage Levi’s, of course. He’s also in need of a wallet upgrade and I love this chic card case from Il Bisonte.
To Receive:
I’m always game to try new skincare tools and tricks and I’ve had my eye on this LED device from Dr. Dennis Gross for quite some time. I also can’t stop thinking about this little black bag from The Row–here’s hoping!
Kiana Murden, beauty commerce writer
To Give:
One lucky person on my list is getting a Solawave wand for Christmas this year in an effort to get all my loved ones hip to the transformative powers of at-home beauty devices. Combining four treatments into one, the sought-after device is a must-have! Otherwise, silk pajamas are consistently a good idea for gifting!
To Receive:
As for myself, I’m looking to revamp my jewelry collection, starting with everyday earrings. Missoma’s serpent hoops have caught my attention, alongside A.P.C.’s wool scarf.

Last year I gave shearling-lined Birkenstocks to my family, and I still stand behind the clog as the perfect wintertime holiday gift! In fact, I’m wearing mine as I write this…
To Receive:
I am also obsessed with everything from Flamingo Estate, particularly their honey jars made from the bee hives of the brand’s celebrity friends!
Mai Morsch, editor
To Give:
This year I will be giving friends and family little treasures from my favorite local shop, Porta NYC. They have the most unique and beautiful home goods. I also think elevated gloves make a great gift–this pair from The Row is super chic.
To Receive:
I am always pleased to receive anything from Santa Maria Novella, the famed Florentine apothecary. I am addicted to their old-world scents and this body milk is beyond luxurious. I use it as perfume! Speaking of luxury, my dream gift would be these Khaite boots…they are close to perfect.
Kylee McGuigan, associate commerce producer
To Give:
Aside from what I’m looking for for myself, I’m eager to give loved ones jewelry. I know that my mom has an inkling for statement necklaces, so this zodiac pendant is exactly what she’ll want (especially since she’s already hinted at it).
To Receive:
Since moving to New York, I’ve realized that I’m lacking some essentials when it comes to my wardrobe and accessories. So, this holiday season, I’ve got my eye on these black knee-high boots from Steve Madden that can pair well with dresses, skirts, and even skinny jeans. And, I’m in (desperate) need of a good wallet, so this one from Tory Burch has been calling my name.
Liana Satenstein, senior fashion writer

This hat is a stellar gift for anyone…even if you’re not a Mets or a meats fan. We can all agree it looks good and has a sense of humor.
To Receive:
I’ve been in a suiting craze recently and I want to mimic Shalom Harlow’s pin-straight, incredibly slick ponytail from her epic Peter Lindbergh shoot in Vogue. This Dry Bar 3-in-1 Interchangeable Blow-Dryer will help me get there…trust me! I absolutely love these elegant earmuffs by the label Bevza by Svitlana Bevza. They come sans the bulk but with all the warmth. The label is based in Kyiv and Svitlana has been rebuilding her business throughout the war.
Alexis Bennett, commerce writer

This year, I plan to pamper every woman on a nice list with a luxurious sampling of one of my favorite fragrances.
To Receive:
As for myself, I love receiving experiences and learning new things, so I’m hoping for an unlimited Masterclass subscription.
Ciara Lorren Zatorski, associate fashion editor

Nothing sparks more joy during the holiday season than gifting your loved ones with carefully curated finds that fit their interests. And though I typically sway toward gifting experiences like a trip to the spa, a cooking class, or a wine subscription, I’ve discovered a few foolproof gifts for anyone on your list. Take the classic game set or a piece of homeware of some sorts. Clare V.’s backgammon and Maison Balzac’s carafe tumbler sets for example, are this season’s go-tos.
To Receive:
My personal wishlist is looking a bit cozier this season with my eyes on a new pair of Ugg boots and a chic throw blanket!
